At an early age of 2 years and 6 months, my daughter Sam really insisted on going to school. Just like Santa Clause, I did made her wish come true. Today is her day 2 and I can say that everything is still sailing smoothly and I wish that she’ll be able to finish the entire term with flying colors.

I didn’t enrolled her on a real school yet since she’s still too young but instead I enrolled her on a day care center situated inside our barangay hall. Thank God our barangay hall is just a minute walk away from where we live because her class starts at 9am and ends at 10am or 11am.

She’s actually doing well because I haven’t heard her crying while calling my name just because parents are not allowed inside the classroom although she’s not yet that cooperative when it comes to mimicking her teacher. I don’t know her reasons but I can see her looking around and observing her teacher and classmates every move or maybe she’s still shy because she’s seeing a lot of unfamiliar faces.

I forgot to mention that she is enrolled with her cousins, Zoe, Miggy and Gabby.

Nothing really cool happened on the first day of classes aside from being late, LOL! There is a reason why we came late and that was because the teacher did not post the list of students because there are two session, morning and afternoon session. Anyway, I decided to go on with the morning session since Sam is a morning person and would actually wake up at around 7am.

When we arrived at their room we saw parents and their kids falling in line because all students are being weighed. She didn’t mind at first because the first thing that she did is find an empty seat where she can place her things and of course sit with. When I told her about it she also went in front and waited for her turn.

Here’s their first activity, their teacher drew a circle and let them color it with red. Don’t judge, hahaha! I’m just so proud of her that when she’s already done coloring her circle got up of her seat and went straight to her teacher.

I’m just so proud of her that at her age she’s doing pretty well at school. Hope she doesn’t get bored because she actually knew a lot of things already.
