We’ve been planning to try out Craving’s unlimited cake and coffee promo for almost 2 weeks now. There are a lot of failed attempts due to schedule differences or time just simply won’t allow us to go. Finally, our cake and coffee craving was already satisfied because we were able to experience it out for ourselves.

It was actually The Coffee Beanery’s (Craving’s sister company) Tuesday Festival that we would like to try because you will be given 16 premium cake flavors to choose from but unfortunately the Tuesday Festival starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm.

Anyway, we still managed to go last Friday (October 7, 2011) it was still fun even if we can only choose 3 cake flavors.

With my friends, Mack, Mhai and Ghie.

Another one but blurry this time. Mhai, Ghie and Lea.

As for the unlimited coffee, we all ordered Ice Coffee. I actually liked the taste and it compliments the cake well. I also tried putting milk on the coffee and it was awesome.

As for the cakes, we are really lucky because we were able to eat 5 different cake flavors. I’m not sure if its the charm or they just feel like giving us extra 2 flavors to taste, haha. Please do forgive me if I will not be able to give the exact name of the cake.

Snickers something :)

Thumbs up for the flavor but then I just think that the cake itself is to ordinary but nevertheless its not as bad as you think it is.

Double Chocolate something :)

You can really taste the chocolate flavor and the cake is moist which makes the cake more intact.

Swiss Alps

I personally did not like this one not because it taste bad but I just really find this one ordinary meaning cake flavor that can be bought from other local cake shop such as Red Ribbon or even Goldilocks. On the positive note, the chocolate in this cake is just right.

Cherry Cheesecake

The cheesecake is awesome but I am not a big fan of cherries. I really wanted to set the cherry and the cherry sauce aside but I just forced myself to eat it with the cheesecake and every after bite I just go and drink my coffee to wash the taste of the cherry.

Sansrival

I was really expecting more from this one since I do love sans rival even if its just the one you can buy from the Burger Machine stand but to my dismay its not that crunchy anymore. We actually had a hard time eating this one since its more on being chewy rather than crunchy yet chewy, you get what I mean.

I’m not a good critique but I do hope you get a glimpse of what to expect when you will go and try it our for yourself but even with the downside I’ll be going back for another one and this time I’ll go and try the Tuesday Festival. I almost forgot, their store is a wifi friendly zone.
